On Thursday September 28th 2023, twenty four of our students went to Lee’s Road to compete in the Cumann na mBunscol, East Clare Primary School Cross-Country competition. Under the watchful eyes of Mr. Kiely, Ms. Minogue, Carmel Mc Garr and Fiona Kelly, the children competed to a very high standard and represented the school brilliantly in what were very challenging conditions.
Our over 10 boys and our over 10 girls team took gold in the team event. One of our students came in first place overall which was an amazing achievement. Our under 10 boys and girls teams also competed very well and came back with medals also.
