This year, our Mini 7s Camogie team began their journey in Broadford, where they faced strong competition from Killaloe, Broadford, and Tuamgraney. With determination and skill, they emerged victorious, claiming the title of East Clare Mini 7s Champions.

Their success continued as they proudly represented our school at the county final on Tuesday, March 25th. Under the expert guidance of Mr. Kiely, the girls overcame tough challenges from Crusheen, Cratloe, Gaelscoil Mhíchíl Cíosóg, and Kilnamona. They played with incredible skill and resilience throughout the day, giving it their all. Upon returning to school, they were greeted with a guard of honour from their fellow pupils—a well-deserved celebration of their achievement. Comhghairdeas, cailíní!

Meanwhile, our boys’ team travelled to Clonlara on February 26th, to compete against Clonlara, Feakle, Killaloe, Bodyke/Tuamgraney, and Broadford. They put in a fantastic performance and were crowned East Clare Mini 7s Hurling Champions.

In round 2, the boys had a very good win over Kilmaley but lost out to Ballyea in the semi final despite a valiant battle.

Road to Victory!
