Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal November 2024
The children and parents of Ogonnelloe National School have always supported this very worthy charity. This year the generosity shown by our student body was really commendable. Over ninety Shoeboxes were donated. As always the children had a great time
Playful Maths Second Class
Children have been learning about shapes and problem solving during October. They had good fun during group work solving some addition problems.
Hurling Coaching
Children from first to sixth class took part in hurling coaching with Jim Corbett over the past four weeks. They have worked on their fundamental movement skills and hurling skills in the process.
Autumn Harvest
The Garden Club were busy harvesting tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, strawberries, potatoes, lettuce and corn from the polytunnel this autumn. The committee members shared some of the harvest with all classes and discussed when the produce was planted. Children in the
